Local Reports on Stinson, Emmenecker

This has been and will continue to be an exciting week in the Energy office as we put the pieces of the puzzle together on our 2009-2010 roster. This year’s squad will have some local college flavor as Iowa State’s Curtis Stinson returns to the Energy and Drake’s Adam Emmenecker gets a chance to make the team at training camp, which begins next week. ABC 5 Sports Director John Walters reports on the news.

   Getting Adam Emmenecker would be awesome. Loved watching him at Drake! Has he been playing in Europe? Or doing something outside of basketball since graduating?

   Back during the Drake’s cinderella year Jim Rome interviewed Adam. It was a great interview that gave some exposure to Drake. You can view it at the Drake Fandome site.

   I’m a big fan of both Stinson and Emmenecker. However, they’re styles are so different. I wonder how coach Nurse will work with that.
